“Fantastic Restaurant with Gorgeous Rooms!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

Really friendly staff. Mark and Caylee made us feel so welcome and special and the food was beautifully presented and of such high quality. The room we had was really lovely and the whole experience was just a joy.
Wye is a lovely quiet village with lots to see and some lovely walks.
Cannot recommend this first class restaurant with rooms highly enough.

Room Tip: They are all just lovely

“Wonderful food, almost wonderful accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

The vegetarian options for starters and mains were absolutely spot on. Imaginative - not the sort of thing I'd have cooked at home - and tasty. I shouldn't have eaten the bitter chocolate tart, but it too was excellent.
A nice touch about the accommodation was the provision of ground coffee, a cafetiere and fresh milk in the bedroom. The mattress was very comfortable, and the linen good quality. The only gripe I had was that the heating didn't come on until 8 o'clock in the morning. That said, the manageress explained that she and her partner had only just taken on the Wife of Bath, and until people mentioned things like this she wouldn't have known. It had been, by the way, the coldest night of the autumn so far.
I noted too that the TV reception wasn't very good - not sure if this is down to the hotel.

“Excellent”

We stayed here after dropping off our daughter at Canterbury to start university, we were greated as we got out of the car and shown to our cottage room. Well appointed with tea & coffee provided, only slight hitch was the shower which was a little low on pressure. We had a superb 3 course dinner, the highlight was the apple tart tatin with stem ginger icecream, possibly the best dessert ever!!!
Great service, quality establishment, excellent vaslue for money.
Can't wait to return.

“Excellent! What English b&b s should be like”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 August 2011 via mobile

Excellent b&b with excellent if expensive restaurant below. Slightly pricey otherwise would have given a five star review.

We stayed in the room with the 4 poster bed, it was very pretty and immaculate. There was an excellent choice of breakfast and the restaurant is a must for quality food. We were greeted by Kayleigh and Mark who are very friendly, welcoming and their attention to detail and service is outstanding.
