We took advantage of a newspaper offer getting rooms for £10 per night.
Despite the hotel being next the M5, the sound proofing is pretty good in blocking out the noise. The room was clean and tidy plus we had plenty of towels and another two pillows. Free Wi-fi and a decent television plus the usual kettle and bathroom. Each Days Inn we've been too, the bed has been very comfortable - some of the more expensive places could learn a thing or two! The view from the window wasn't great - motorway services but forget that and it doesn't seem too bad. The unusual touch was an aviary on site - never seen one at a Days Inn especially at a motorway services station.
In the reception area, you can have breakfast and use the microwave but instead we ventured out. The receptionists were very polite and the nice touch was that the cleaner left us fresh towels and tea after we had accidentally left the 'do not disturb' sign on the door.
Overall recommended if you're not bothered about accommodation but just want a good nights' sleep and convenient jump-off point to see Bristol and the surrounding area.
