We have never felt qualified to review any Guest House before having never returned to any others for a second visit, but after returning from our tenth or so visit to the Fairhaven, I think we are qualified! Plus the fact we are now "regulars" speaks volumes. You will not be met by more genuine and friendly hosts than Kelly, Liz and Keith, their hospitality should set the benchmark others aspire to, it is obvious they love the Fairhaven and love to welcome their guests. The rooms are second to none - spotless, comfy, well decorated and relaxing. The breakfasts are spot on - and believe me this is a speciality area of mine!!! Relaxing in the lounge in front of the log fire on a cold winters evening is to be highly recommended. All the little touches that the "team" do from the welcoming coffee and cakes to drying your walking boots to giving you tips for visits and eateries, make a massive difference.
Try the Fairhaven and you will return - it's as simlpe as that
Nearly forgot - all this in a wonderful village setting that is tranquil and picture postcard perfect
