we stayed at the Belvoir HOtel for 7 nights in 2 family roooms
The hotel is a family hotel, the rooms were spacious and clean.
Mr. Zumstein helped us is valuable ideas for our trips, and the team helped with every small detail we needed help with.
The food in the restaurant is delicious and has also special dishes for children,
The Internet is free.
Location wise - the hotel is located in a small nice village near the lake, we have moring walks near the lake and to reach Luzern is about 10-15 minutes by car, very close to the highway.
To summarize we reccomend warmly :-)

If you are looking for a large mid-city hotel with a doorman, concierge desk and room service, the Hotel Belvoir will disappoint you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a small family-run hotel; if you want to awake to the friendly sound of bells from grazing cows; if you want a view of Lake Sarnen and the surrounding snow-capped Alps; and if you want to partake of great Swiss food, this is your hotel! The Belvior is a short drive or train ride from the tourist centers of Lucerne and Interlaken. The Sarnen train station is nearby. The small towns of Sarnen and Sachseln are 2 minutes away, void of tourists, and you can shop with the locals. Parking is free and on the property. The Zumstein family and their staff speak English, German and French. Our family has been staying at the Belvior for over 30 years and make it our home base for travel throughout Switzerland and northern Italy. Enjoy!
