This hotel is a nice, functional hotel in a great spot for the airport. Like many airport hotels there is nothing to do around it but thats ok as long as you know what to expect. There is a garage next door for stuff like water, sandwiches etc, but otherwise nothing. My gripe, the breakfast. Everything is cold. Fried eggs, stone cold, beans stone cold. There was even a guy wandering around dressed as a chef ??????. What kind of chef cant keep beans warm ?. Like I said, functional and placed really well for the airport, just dont expect warm food at breakfast, its apparently to difficult for chef to arrange.

I have been to Norway a few times but never been to the jessheim/oslo area but heard so many good things about the area so my husband and i decided to take our kids there as a christmas gift! when we arrived to the airport we took a shuttle bus to the hotel. we got there the outside looked unique but seemed a little old. once we got inside we were warmly greeted by a female receptionist and got our room key and went upstairs to our room. when we got to are room we werent impressed at all. it was small and seemed so old and it smelled like cigarettes when we were told that all room were non smoking. that night once my husband and i got the kids settled down and got them ready for bed all we could hear was noise coming from the bar area. and it seemed like there was a party going on in the room next to us. we called the receptionist about the complaint and said they would talk to them to get them to quiet down. that helped for only about 10-15 minutes then they started getting loud again. that next morning we went downstairs for some breakfast and was very disapointed. there were not a lot of choices and to top it off the bacon was gross and very dry, their was eggshells in the scrambled eggs but i would have to say that the bread seemed very fresh and was about the only thing that tasted even slightly good. after breakfast we asked to speak to a manager about the whole stay and it looked like he just rolled his eyes and had an attitude with everything we were telling him! he seemed stressed and seemed that he really didnt take anything that we said seriously. im very disapointed in this hotel and i will never even think of going back!!!! i would NOT recommend a stay at this hotel!

We have chosen this hotel because we arrived at Oslo Airport in the evening and we had a train reservation for Bergen the following morning.
To reach the airport we used the shuttle bus which serves all the hotels in that area. I remember the price is not very cheap.
The hotel is located near the forest in a very green area.
The hotel is nice and modern but the best thing of the hotel is the superb breakfast which allow us to resist till the evening in Bergen.

I used to stay at this hotel a lot a few years ago, but since then it seems like the maintenance of the hotel has stood still. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, it's just starting to look a bit older. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but there was hardly any pressure in my shower and when I grabbed the shower head off the wall, the whole fitting came off. I guess a part of my comment has to do with the fact that there now are quite a few new stylish hotels in the Gardermoen area, and this hotel has not maintained its position among those.

The buffet lunch and set dinner was not as good as last time, as they seem to have reduced the buffet choices. A big plus is that they have a popcorn and a soft ice machine in the reception. Unfortunately I seem to have gotten food poisoned at the hotel as I stayed for two nights and got sick right after arrival at home. I'm assuming it could be the soft ice machine as a lot of bacteria builds up if it's not continuously maintained.

The hotel is all in all a good place to stay, but this time I had a few experiences that weren't so good. With a little attention though, the hotel will be back on track within no time. The reason why I wouldn't reccomend this hotel is not beacause there is anything majorly wrong with it, but just because there are a lot of better hotels with the same rate level in the area.
