we have just returned from loch tummel hotel, starting with the coach and driver-we were picked up on time coach excellent warm and clean and comfortable driver peter very informative and very pleasant all through the holiday. ok its a long journey as we live in norfolk, but we knew this when we booked. the hotel is fantastic we had a quiet room on the second floor with a fantastic view of the loch and mountains. food very good with a good choice and yes we did have liver and onions one night and very tasty it was. staff very pleasant and will sort out different menu if required. entertainment each night. days out were very good such great value, i think you will realize we did have a good holiday with lochs and glens, we have travelled with them once before and will do so again. we also had added bonus of frosty mornings and bright sunny days, no rain so scenery was lovely.

“If you like Liver & Onions on the menu..............”

Alful - I stayed during Christmas 2011.
No atmosphere at all.
The room was large but not cleaned well, sheets never replaced in 6 days. Dirty mirrors in the bathroom, toilet rolls not replaced.
As for the menu - yuk!
Pea and ham soup, Liver and Onions as a main! Spag Bog.
Truly the worst menu I have come across in a long time.
Best avoided.

“Dreadful journey”

We went on a pre Christmas trip, as ever Loch Tummel Hotel is brilliant. You cannot fault the rooms, staff or the excellent food. But the journey was terrible. We were told to be at our pick up for 5.15am we were actually there for 5.05 it was snowing and bitterly cold, the coach did not put in an appearance until 6am.We were the first pick up so every one was delayed. We phoned the number to be spoken to by a totally unhelpful woman who was not Lochs and Glens they use another company who obviously are not so customer orientated. The coach was cold, boring no media entertainment, with a driver who sniffed and 'cuffed' his runny nose disgusting. The 13.5 hour journey each way because we had to go to Procters depo in North Yorkshire which if it wasn't for Macdonalds would have also been horrendous. With the majority of these travellers being elderly-unacceptable treatment. Shame on you Lochs and Glens.

Room Tip: All the rooms are brilliant. Beds so comfy.

I went with 3 friendfs to Loch Tummel for christmas. Had a great time. Food, service and staff were all brilliant. Very well organised. Coach trips out were good and driver was very informative re times etc. I would like to point out that I am not 80 and I didnt go to bed at 10pm as one review said.

“Brilliant New Year D&S Shrewsbury”

We have just returned from a 5 day New Year "Hogmanay" break at Loch Tummel hotel. We had a fantastic time, met up with some people from last years holiday. Our room was on the upper floor as requested and I have to say it was the biggest room we have ever stayed in, the view from the window was first class, over the loch towards snow capped mountains. As usual the food was first class and plenty of it with a good choise. The pipe and drums band on New Years Eve were superb many of them were young teenage boys and girls aboslutely fantastic. The staff at the hotel were polite and friendly, the coach drivers were porfessional with a good local knowledge. Thank you Lochs & Glens

Room Tip: Room 304 was huge!
