This is our second time at this hotel. It is a converted farm house and has retained much of the rural charm. Besides having clean and relatively spacious rooms at a reasonable cost, the location is ideal for those who have flown into the Marco Polo International Airport. It is virtually a hop, skip and a jump from the airport. You can easily walk to the hotel from the airport. Only precaution is a short section where you do not have sidewalks and must share the road with vehicles. If you do not wish to walk, simply take the No.5 ACTV bus in front of the airport terminal and get off at the first stop. Then you need to walk about a couple of blocks to the hotel. To go to Venice (Piazzale Roma), simply go back to the bus stop and take the No. 5 bus for a 20 minute ride. You can purchase bus tickets at local stores. This will save you some money as compared to buying your ticket on the bus. If you are catching a cruise ship, take the People Mover at Piazzale Roma and get off at the cruise ship terminal.

The main drawback of the location of this hotel is the lack of amenities. There are only a few restaurants in the area. However, the included breakfast that is served is excellent. Free wifi is available.

Highly overrated, for this money you can find a better place to stay in.

I travelled to Croatia with my husband and three children (11,10,7 years) in Sept 2011.
We stayed at this hotel on our last night awaiting morning flight in Marco Polo airport,
Staff were great, spoke excellent english..also courteous and helpful.They gave us 10% voucher off local restauraunt which was excellent,,,,just 5 min walk from hotel.The hotel had character and the room clean and well presented.The walls are in need of soundproofing but we were tired and slept no problem.
Breakfast was self service buffet style with adequate selection of options.
The room had two levels,two double beds upstairs and sofa bed downstairs.This worked v well for a family but may not be suitable for longer stays.
Overall pleasant experience and loved the grounds.

We finished our holiday off at the Venice Resort hotel after staying a week in the Dolomites. the hotel was so easy to locate , it is less than 5 minutes from the airport and the bus stop to go into venice is just at the bottom of the road. The bus takes about 15 -20 mins straight to Venice bus station and the service is good. You walk over the Bridge and you have the magic of Venice. The hotel on arrival was like going into our own villa or french chateau. we were checked in really quickly and the rooms was very clean, modern . Breakfast was xcellent, buffet style cold meat selection, cereals, croissants, scrambled eggs, pancetta, rolls jams and fresh fruit.Served by a very mature gentleman who was really obliging. The loaction rooms and service we would reccommend to all we will definatley return. Great value for money !!!!!
