This is certainly a hotel worth going slightly off the main north south route for. We really enjoyed a short stay here and will certainly return. Rarely have we stayed in a hotel where the staff have worked so hard to make sure all the guests have a good experience. The restaurant staff were particularly worthy of mention as they coped superbly with individual guests and a coach party making sure everyone felt important. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet.

Room is clean and comfortable, bed is ok.
Floor in corridors hav eto be urgently replaced ! it is dirty and give a very bad aspect of the hotel.
Good breakfast and kind staff.
