I stayed here with my husband and another couple in March this year. It is a fabulous gite. It's extremely spacious and well-appointed. A group of 8 could stay here comfortably. The gite has a lovely rustic feel and Vic des Pres is picture-postcard pretty. Don't be put off by the electricity pylons as you approach the village - they are't visible at all from the gite.
We thought it was excellent value for money. The electric heaters were expensive to run, but then it did snow heavily while we were there!
The location is good for a wine tasting tour and there are several charming towns and chateaux nearby (eg. we visited Beaune, Dijon, Fountainbleu Abbey and Chateauneuf, among others).
The owners are very nice, but speak very little English, so you will need to brush up on your secondary school french!
