Stayed here for 10 nights and found the hotel to be very clean. The staff were friendly and most spoke a little english which was better than my German. The hotel location is ideally suited for vists to Dresden with the train station only a 10 min walk away. ( recommend a 15 euro family ticket which gives all day unlimited travel throughout the VVO network, trams trains buses and Elbe ferries) The breakfast's were plentiful and varied although the dining room got busy when coach groups were in. We ate a couple of times in the evening in the bar area and the food was excellent and plentiful if not the cheapest. The rooms themeselves were very comfortable, although on arrival we were allocated a room with two single beds instead of the double ordered, but this was quickly and efficiently changed. The only downside (slight) was that our room was on the town side which meant I heard the noise from the engineering works first thing in the morning, but it was no real problem. There is a free internet connection available but this can get quite busy at times, but on the other hand if you are on holiday why use the net at all unless it's to find place's to visit (Highly recommend Kurort Rathen it's beautiful) Wife says to add that there is a hairdryer in the room
