We stayed one night while on a recent family trip, using two rooms (one room had one double bed, the other had two double beds). The rooms were clean (except for the stained bed cover, which was mentioned in another review). Pleasantly surprised to have a fridge and microwave in the rooms, in addition to the coffeemaker. Front desk staff was very friendly. Blairmore is a small town with few choices for hotels - this one seems like one of the best options in the Crowsnest Pass, and we would stay again.

We recently stayed at BCMI in Blairemore and was almost like staying at home. Very clean room and was very comfy. We also ate all our meals at the resteraunt and we were pleased every time. We will stay again

The BCMI chain takes on-line reservations but doesn't honour them; they had no record of all the customers arriving with on-line reservations. The staff indicated, it's less expensive to call in than book on-line. As a result we got a small room that appeared clean until the bed cover was pulled back to reveal a mosaic of stains. I was not a happy camper. I guess the cleaners missed that (along with the last customer's snow pants hanging in the open closet area). The room was quiet though with little noise from fellow travelers. Breakfast was free but didn't start until 8AM, so we missed it.

We were disappointed after choosing this motel because of its convenience to Frank Slide and Crowsnest Pass. The website photos and description made it look much nicer than it really is. While the room itself was okay, the sauna and whirlpool weren't available (we were told they were being remodeled/removed) and the pictured gathering area with pool table which appeared to be the lobby was actually a lounge - no minors allowed. This left us with little for our teenager to do. The lobby and corridors were dingy, and the room wasn't vacuumed well -- we found sunflower seeds all over the floor. The room itself was comfortable, and we were able to sleep 5 (two queens and a cot) with room to maneuver. Overall, although it wasn't horrible, I can't help but wonder if we might have found another place to stay with better public areas catering to families.
Pros: nice beds, roomy, friendly staff, extra pillows, convenient to Crowsnest Pass and Frank Slide
Cons: no elevator, no pool/hot tub/etc., wonky water, nothing for families to do, not vacuumed thoroughly
