“Quiet location, clean hotel, polite service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2011

We stayed one night in this hotel. Our stay was in combination with the spa that is attached to the hotel.
Plus:
-Clean hotel
-Friendly and professional staff
-beautiful and relaxing location
-Spa attached is very modern, very beautiful, very professional and the staff is polite
-Very good prices

Mins:
-Hotel is located outside Sittard but it's about 12 minutes by car
-From the hotel you can view the naked guests of the spa
-Hammam should have an apart room for massage with soap and foam. And not in a public open space
-I'd like to see more male staff working outside the restaurants in the spa area (balance)
-Quite small breakfast (but it's cheap)

“Nice place for a stop over”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

We stayed here for 2 nights in Jul. We up-graded our room to a junior suite and found it to be great large. Sittard is about 15 mins by car and is a very nice little town to look around. The hotel has a health club next door to it, which was free to use. Just be careful as this is all naked club, where you have spa's and pools to use.Like it said it is a fully naked club so if that is not your cup of tea then dont go. Overall it was nice place to stay for a couple of days, the breakfast and dinners there were of a good standard.

“Shocked about policy Thermen”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2009

We came from our town by car just for the connected Thermen. We can't say anything about the hotel and the restaurant, but we were just shocked about the fact that the Thermen was forbidden to enter without badsuits. We left immediately because we not allowed to do that according to our religion. Further it looked great and very clean, the price would have been acceptable.

I very appreciate that I didn't have to pay my parking because I didn't use the Thermenplace.

“Spa bla bla”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 May 2009

We stayed here in April 2009 and had a great time. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. No safes. The breakfast is one of the nicest I have had and I travel a lot - real fruit juice, real jams, decent sausages...
Ample parking (free) and the spa next door is great - special offer of 15 Euros per person per day when we were there. Be careful though, the sauna area is nude.

“nice spa!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2009

I booked a stay for 1 night at the last minute and got a deal for DBL room with breakfast for 65€ (normal price was over 100€).
You definitely need a car to get there, it is located near a roadway.

The room and overall the hotel was clean, though I wouldn't give it 4 stars, maybe 3 the most. The hotel needs some refurbishment and fresh touch, now it looks a bit tired.
Service was excellent, so was the spa. Please note that this is all naked spa, where men and women are together. There were about 4 different saunas and few pools plus a really nice terrace outside! I really recommend to use the facilities while staying at this hotel, though you might not be very comfortable with nakedness, but after a few times you (have to) get used to it :)

Food selection for breakfast was enjoyable and tasty. They had eggs and bacon as well as croissants and yoghurt.

What I didn't like was that the signs all over the hotel were only in Dutch. Seemed like there were staying mostly locals but still I'd expect information to be in English as well, since it's a hotel after all...
