We love it!

Close to the airport. Clean, modern rooms with everything that you would want. Helpful staff. Lovely village.

Negatives: 1. if they are landing on runway 19R, it noisy. Hey, it's an airport hotel - live with it!

Negatives: 2. you have to change busses to get to Amsterdam Central.

Our view: we regularly have to travel to AMS to collect from flights - this is hotel is our accommodation of choice. Try it, if you can live with our two negatives (and most 'normal' people could!).

After four flights it provided a perfectly serviceable place to spend the night and recover a little. Everything was clean enough and it had all the features I'd expect in a budget airport hotel, plus I had a spa bath, which was an unexpected bonus.

Thr only thing worth being aware of is if you end up catching a taxi from Schiphol (I arrived really late) it'll be about 35euro, so it may be more cost effective to stay at a more expensive place closer to their airport. If you can use their free shuttle in both directions it would be fine!

We made a confirmed reservation six months in advance using "Hotels.nl" Dutch reservation service. Arriving at night with the promise of a shuttle we found we could not reach the hotel by telephone so took a taxi---cost 57E. Then upon reaching the hotel we found that there was no room for us as they had decided our reservation must have been a duplicate of another so let our room in advance of our arrival.

When I booked this hotel, I was concerned that you had to call ahead to get them to send the shuttle, since I didn't have a cellphone. But, public phones in Schilpol airport worked fine and the shuttle arrived 20 minutes or so later. However, the ride to the hotel was a bit longer than I expected for an 'airport' hotel. Actually, the place is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood in a nearby small town.

However, I was travelling back to the US after several weeks in Spain and wanted to see a little bit of Amsterdam again, so for me the location was good for my flight connectons over two days. The rooms were clean, nothing fancy, but good wi-fi, and the hotel staff was very helpful on bus connections to Amsterdam (about half an hour away). My visit was a short one,, but I was still able to return to several favorite museums and places from past visits. Other tourists, for longer visits or first timers, might want to stay in Amsterdam itself. The rate was good value and for a short visit I would recommend this hotel.
