The Ibis Liège Seraing is a more than adequate hotel for a business stay. Its location is some way from the centre of the city but it all depends where you need to be – in my case the university. I had the benefit of an end room which in fact was 2 rooms sleeping 4 people. The rooms were light and airy, basically furnished and clean. The bathroom had shower, sink & WC and was clean and well illuminated. Wireless internet in your room is chargeable but free in the lobby. Breakfast would never set the culinary world on fire but there was a good choice of fare. Scrambled eggs and sausage were available but you had to time your arrival carefully. Indeed clean cups and glasses quickly get consumed at busy times leaving one a bit bemused as to where to turn. Nonetheless fresh tasty baguettes were always provided and with jam or cheese to fill made for a good start to the day. All in all I was perfectly satisfied with my stay here. The nearby Le Vaudrée restaurant provides some reasonable food and is only a short walk (5 minutes) away.
