We found this hotel on Booking.com. It was the right price in the right location so we booked it. There was not alot of information about it so we drove there for our last night in France with some trepidation.
It was great. The staff was friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. There was a secure car park which we appreciated. We were given a code and could come and go as needed. The room was clean and the beds comfortable though a little small. The furnishings seemed new. Not too many amenities (it is two star). I believe they said there was wifi in the lobby. No elevator.
We left too early for their breakfast but we enjoyed our dinner at the small restaurant next door. There is nothing else in the immediate vicinity, though Chantilly was a quick 5-10 min drive through forested area.
It is quite near Asterix theme park. We chose it for the convenience to CDG airport as we needed to be there early. It was easy to get to A-1 and was a little less than a half hour drive to the airport.
It is located right next to the train station and there were frequent trains. We were on the track side and had our windows open however noise was never an issue most (probably all of the night trains) sped right through. A busy city street would have been much worse.
This was our last night in France and it seemed to embody all that we had learned to love about the country. I definitely recommend this hotel. Expect simple, clean, friendly-- nothing fancy.
