Having stayed at this hotel many times in the past we were very disappointed with our most recent experience. We were travelling with family and had booked the duplex which is advertised to accomodate four. The mini apartment was well laid out with a double bed on the ground floor and another on the upper floor. Everything was living up to what we expected until we tried to shower. Two of us had hot showers, one luke warm and one cold! When we complained we were told it was because we showered too quickly after each other - our reply, that we thought two of us showering 1.5 hours after the other two was not quick, was met with a shrug!! It was a very disappointing end to our Christmas visit to Lille. The hotel appears to have changed hands and now seems to be more interested in its conferences than its other guests. We both speak french so it wasn't that there was a communication problem. The old staff were charming and concerned that everything was correct for your stay whereas the staff now seem more interested in their conversations with each other and not the guests. As we visit Lille on a regular basis this hotel was our home-from-home - how disappointing!
