This is a nice simple hotel located about 2 miles outside Salamanca main centre. The walk in is pleasant enough as you can walk down by the side of the river and takes around 40 minutes to get in. We elected to walk every day however buses passed us frequently. The hotel itself is clean and with friendly staff. We had a relatively simple room however it was perfectly adequate, cleaned regularly and had a good supply of toiletries provided. We spent a few nights downstairs drinking in the bar and also ate once in the hotel restaurant where the food was excellent - we didn't expect it to be so good so a very nice surprise. All in all this is a nice hotel but might not be right for someone that wants to be right on top of the action due to the walk/ bus journey. But it suited us just fine. Only minor complaint was our air conditioning wasn't very effective so although we went during October the nights were very hot

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2011. Helpful staff, clean rooms, nice swimming pool and good frequent bus service into the city centre

This hotel is 20mn away by bus to the old city of Salamanca. You cross the street and hop on the bus while you leave your car in the hotel garage. No problems with the narrow streets. Salamanca with its 'grande place' and its gold colour stone is beautiful. A city worth visiting while in Spain. And don't forget the museo de art nouveau y art deco, a hidden treasure in the old city.

Overall Comments: Only if you have to

Room: Awful, old furniture, high windows, ugly bathroom.

Location: Bad, taxi into town only. Nothing nearby and basically in a commercial estate.

Facilities: Has a pool, but it was closed when we stayed. No other facilities worth mentioning.

Food: Did not eat there.

Service: Okay

Parking: Underground and secure.
