This was the first stay (2 nights) of our car tour of Andalucia. Having flown into Malaga, we had considered staying there, or Marbella, as we wanted to visit Gibraltar, but opted for this hotel in Ojen - and were delighted we did.
Other reviewers have described the village, its location and that of the hotel, so I won't repeat. Suffice to say that the hotel is lovely and we had a fine room with a large bathroom (one sink each!). Unfortunately, the boiler pump had broken down which meant that hot water was a long time getting through to the taps. As we arrived on a Sunday, no plumber was available until the following day. However, we were told about this problem by the friendly and helpful receptionist, received a written apology from the owner and ultimately were given a free bottle of wine, and, on leaving, a reduction in the room rate without asking. Every business encounters problems occasionally, and it's how they respond that counts - in this case, very well.
As we were leaving early both days, we didn't sample breakfast, so we can't comment on the food.
Rather than try to negotiate the very narrow streets to the hotel, we left our hire car in the large free car park at the bottom of the village, without any problems.
A relaxing and enjoyable short stay in a lovely hotel giving excellent service.
