We attended a friends wedding. The venue and quality of food was superb however the room left a lot to be desired. The room itself was fine but quite shabby.

The bridal suite was fantastic, would recommend for an intimate wedding..

This hotel setting is lovely, overlooking a small spanish village, and the decor in the hotel has been done in the moorish style. It looked like quite a modern hotel but is sympathetic to the style of an old castle which once stood on the site. We attended a family wedding with a mediaeval theme and it was a perfect setting. The downside is that the hotel is not run well and there only seemed to be a skeleton staff working (although they were friendly). The food was generally very poor and the selection for breakfast was inadequate. Attention to detail was lacking as the rooms had no drinks facilities and only 4 hangers in the wardrobe. There was no safe deposit in the room either. It does have an unusual layout and this makes it quirky and interesting but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

We had our wedding here and it was magical! Helpful staff, got loads organised via the venue (flowers, cake, decorations, place cards etc were included in the price) which made it easy, food was delicious, wine was plentiful... Only downside was the breakfast the next day which was a bit poor but in general, would totally recommend for anyone wishing to have their wedding in such a stunning and colourful venue. If you need a band, ask the Castle for contact details for Eugenia Pino, who sorted out our very, VERY good band (Daquiri). Beautiful location, good value for money and easy to organise would summarise it all I think :)

We recently stayed in Monda castle for our wedding.
The venue is out of this world & on the day everything went
really well.

However this hotel is badly run. We booked in a few days before the wedding .
I asked for a boiled egg for breakfast and was told I would be able to have a boiled egg later in the week!!!
It was as if I should be glad I was getting an egg. Hardly a strange request.
Also the night before our wedding I had to plead with the chef for
food for our guests who had arrived in after a flight all she wanted to offer was sandwiches.
This just does not seem acceptable from a hotel with this rating.

The morning after our wedding we got no breakfast. there was no red carpet put out like we were told there would be.

The venue is A1 but the way the place is ran is a joke.
I don't blame the staff it's the Management & the owner that are
100 per cent to blame.

They need to sit down and put a proper structured business plan together to run the hotel efficiently.

So if you are staying here beware & expect a less than average standard of service
