“Great for a stop-over”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

I stayed here with three of my children on the way back up to the ferry this summer. We had previously stayed in another All Seasons and were impressed with that one so thought we'd try again. This hotel in Melun was to a similar standard with a huge family room (one king size bed and 2 singles) which was more than adequate for all of us.
All the staff were very pleasant and friendly and couldn't do enough to accommodate the children. The restaurant was a nice surprise with a great children's menu (not just the usual nuggets/sausage and chips) and they were still open when we arrived, after a very long drive, at 9pm.
What is brilliant about the All Seasons though is the breakfast which has masses of choice from breads and pastries to ham, cheese and yoghurt, fruit, cereal and a wide range of drinks.
Everything was clean, there's free wifi and whilst the surroundings aren't the best, for a stopover hotel it's perfect.
The only criticism I had was with the shower which didn't drain properly and wasn't sloping the right way so I ended up flooding the bathroom and some of the carpet in the room too. However, this is a minor point and easily fixable so doesn't detract from my overall impression.

“The nicest hotel on this street!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2011

Note currently Trip Advisor are showing the All Seasons Melun in the wrong place on the map. The address is correct, 6 rue de perre, which is by a shopping mall (with supermarket) and the F1 Hotel, just along the road from the Confort Hotel (previously the Balladins Hotel).

Having stayed in the nearby "Confort Hotel" at 50 euros a night for a double room with breakfast, it was an easy choice to move to the All Seasons at 80 euros a night. A bit more expensive, but so much nicer!

There is a nice stylish welcoming lobby with a bar and restaurant (closed at the weekends for some reason), and breakfast and wifi are included.

There is free parking, with a security gate at night (with a buzzer and staff on duty at reception to let you in if you come back very late).

With a car the location is fine, on the edge of Melun and only 5mins from the Vaux le Vicompte Chateau which is well worth a visit. On foot however, you'll want a taxi - even walking to the city centre takes about 30mins.

“A Motor Inn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

Great comfortable, but that was the only evidence of service, comfortable rooms, reliable wifi, free parking - but it's a little out of the way, bar/restaurant not open on a Saturday night, breakfast limited and the surrounding area outside the hotel felt a bit dodgy. Definitely a stopover hotel. Whilst I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, doesn't mean I hated it, but after a long drive, would have appreciated being able to get a drink when we arrived and been able to stay in the hotel to eat rather than heading out again.

“Good quality hotel”

Booked here for 1 night on the way back from South of France. Good quality hotel - room for 2 adults/2 children bigger than average. Very clean, comfortable with coffee/tea facilities provided in room. 5 minutes drive from town with nice shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

“Kyriad was OK”

Visited Melun on business, and this place seemed nicer than the other places I saw. Friendly staff, but not much English spoken here. OK restaurant. Wi-Fi access was hit-or-miss.
