This hotel is miles outside of Paris. It took us hours to travel to it on the metro from Gar de Nord and we were not relieved when we first saw it. The area is not safe and certainly not welcoming for tourists.

The breakfast cost us 4.50 euros each and consisted of a stale coissant with concentrated orange juice that tasted of chemicals. The rooms are tiny even by our standards (and we are used to budget travel). There was a VERY suspicious stain on the wall in our friends room. The curtains are made of plastic and the noise from the airport will keep you up all night!

It took ages to get into Paris every day and then we had to go back early to make the last metro. There is nothing to do at all in the vicinity of the hotel so we had to sit in our rooms all evening and pray that we weren't attacked in the night.

Do not stay at this hotel. I shall never forget our trip to Paris for all the wrong reasons.

To be honest, I didn't even stay here once I saw it. The hotel is NOT at 57 rue Stalingrad, but about two miles up the road. This is a terrible area for tourists, or anyone unarmed. They were rude at the desk, rude on the phone, and all of their claims of being in a nice area conveniently located near the airport are a blatant lie. Take the free shuttle outside the train station at CDG to a reputable hotel, and save yourself a lot of frustration and upset.

I needed a hotel that was close to the airport. (CDG). When I looked in the internet, this hotel was an option because it said it was a few miles away from the airport.... Obviously the price was ok (45 dlls. per night). I got to Paris at night and had to take a taxi because I was by my own (single woman), but never knew the location of this disgusting hotel. Even the taxi didn't know the exact location, so he began driving to search it. When we finally arrived, it was in a horrible area, isolated and at the entrance was a group of teenagers drinking and shouting... The room was extremely dirty, it smelled really bad, and the sheets seemed to be used by something else.... I could't sleep afraid of somebody getting into my room, really!!!!
While I thought I saved with the price of the night's hotel, I had to spend 55 euros (roundtrip) on the taxi from and to the airport.... Think about it.......

My husband and I were in Paris May 2006. Directions given were hard to follow and ended a mile away from the hotel, which was on a dead end street in the worst part of Paris, (20 minutes from the center of Paris). We called a taxi company and were told they will not run in this part of town at night for less than $250. Room was small and clean but toilet broke and they didn’t fix it during our stay. We checked out early and were not given any compensation for any inconvenience. Our worst experience ever.
