After taking in the delights of Chamonix & Lake Garda and the not-so delightful Milan, we sailed into Corsica at 2pm. We took the short drive to VVF and polled into the car park.

I went to reception to find nobody there - just an A4 bit of paper saying something about no-one here til 5.30pm.

I decided to have a look around the park and it was deserted, there was rubbish everywhere, the shalets were ppaling, the pizzeria looked like it had been shut for weeks and it was only the 2nd week of Sept.

It was so bad that we didnt even check in - instead we drove down to Porto Vecchio and splashed out on a £100 a night hotel.
