My wife and I stayed here on a stopover on our France tour and as we wanted to visit the designer shopping centres picked this hotel.
As described in other reviews the hotel was VERY hard to locate due to a lack of suitable signage.
Upon arrival we were informed that there was no lift (elevator) in the hotel and as I have a bed back and severe arthritis in both knees we were disappointed upon arrival.
When we got to our room it only got worse as t was stifling hot and the A/C was not working and well the safe did not work as well.
When I went to reception to report this I was given another room which was on the sunny side and stifling hot as well, and when I went back to reception and said that the A/C was not working I was informed that the A/C was turned off this time of year as it always is.
When I asked for a renovated room, being Accor Gold members as there was not many guests staying there I was told "it is not possible" and was given a room on the shady side of the premises which was at least bearable.
The restaurant was quite good with standard Mercure menu and some friendly and very helpful staff.

Great hotel, friendly, helpful service and good restaurant. Located by a small airport a little way from beautiful old Troyes. No public transport into Troyes (around 5 km away), suggest you take your car as taxis very expensive (20 euros each way). Family rooms comfortable with twin and two single beds and separate toilet and bathroom

On our way to Tunis from uk, chose this hotel from our sat nav before it got too dark. The choice of Novotel made because of the international name and have always found them to be ok. Had a bit of trouble finding it even with sat nav, it's a bit on the outskirts of town. Was a bit worried about our car as we were loaded up, but car park was secure. The room was a bit on the small side but clean, bathroom nice, didn't use the restaurant as we ate on a stop off earlier. The bar area was small and they were having a sort of conference which made it a little crowded. We left the next morning early and ate at Macdonalds. Had a good sleep, was disturbed a few times with guests leaving, probably for flights as it is classed as a airport hotel.
Staff not too sociable but were busy, no porter to help with luggage but the receptionist did offer.The hotel is a little tired looking and could do with a facelift, but got Internet ok.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop-over on our way from Holland to Italy. It's a business hotel, with as an added bonus that after arriving really late due to a rain storm, the receptionist was there, was expecting us (as we had booked) and had our keys ready for us. He then even offered to put the cooling elements from our cool box in the bar's freezer, which I thought was great service. All staff is cordial and correct. We chose it because with Novotel you know what you will get, the same standards and in this case, a spacious room, clean bathroom and even a separate toilet. Another big plus is that it has a private outdoor parking, which is good when you have a car full of stuff. The only downside is that it is rather in the middle of nowhere, even though our GPS system managed quite well in finding it. We woke up rested and ready for another day in the car, which was exactly our objective.
