I recommend everyone to avoid this hostel. They've charged my credit card for a service I didn't received.

Great location, this hotel is ideally suited to Girona airport.
The hotel has nice grounds and is quite relaxing.

BUT. that's it.

if you want a cheap hotel, close to the airport, with no frills, then this is for you.

On entering the hotel, there is a sense of walking into a time warp, where faulty towers meets the adams family.

the only word I can use to describe the rooms are dingy, if your a fan of all things seventies, then your in for a treat, as this place has not been touched for eons.

I did not enjoy anything connected with the inside of the hotel, especially the dinning room, although from the outside (there is a pattern here) it looks slick well run and clean, when you have dined there, you realise your mistake, you came in.

this hotel is dated, and in need of a makeover, this hotel would prove quite a challenge to both the hotel inspector, and Gordon Ramsey

The location of the hotel is isolated, to get to Girona town would mean a fifteen minuet taxi ride, around 14 euro, there is a bus stop outside the hotel this would cost around 3 euro.

Stayed here as it was near to the airport, as we had early morning flight.
arrived in the afternoon, went round the pool area no bar or cafe open.
The room was dark and very smelly, daated back to the 60's.
we had to eat here as no more restraunts around, very expensive not very good food.
woke up early with a choking feeling this was due to people smoking in their rooms.
even for one night dont stay.

I booked this through laterooms. I put in the advice that I had poor mobility and that I wanted a room which faced south east due to seasonal affective disorder. I put that in both spanish as well as in english.

when we arrived they took payment for my room immediately. I soon learnt why, if they hadn't I would have checked out again. The hotel staff put me in a top floor room there was a minuscule lift but its not disabled accessible. The room faced north west!!!

Now that might seem unlucky if it was the middle of the summer, but its the end of February and there are at most there are 2 other guest in the hotel!

I'm writing this as I can't sleep as the bed is practically a children's bed. It's at best 6 foot long and so narrow that I could barely lie flat.

I have to say getting there was fine, it on the very outskirts of girona, right by a roundabout on the main dual carriageway. You can hear the cars driving by even when the windows are closed and shuttered.

If you have an electrical gear you need extension sockets, as the plugs by the beds are non standard (i have never seen them before anywhere in europe).

On a positive note the room has free wifi, and came with a small Full HD TV with external inputs for HDMI x2, VGA, Scart, and Composite

It could be that we just got a really lousy staff members who likes sticking it to the customers, but I'm never coming here again, and I'll think twice about using the husa chain as well.

Next time I come to Girona, I'll look for somewhere actually in Girona as there is lots of free parking. This place is to Girona, what Girona airport is to Barcelona. A long way away!. And when your in the beautiful city of Girona can I recommend you try a restaurant called Vinil, worth travelling to Girona for alone!
