Stayed here first in 2006 just after it opened, and the latest stay was in June 2010. The hotel grounds have matured in the meantime. The hotel overall - restaurant, rooms and other facilities - have maintained their high standards over the intervening years, which is normally a very good sign given the staff turnover issues in most hotels.

The only problem we had was with another guest trying to get into our room at 4.00 am, which, of course, had nothing to do with the hotel. But, the hotel's quality manager did discuss it with us, just in case it wasn't another guest - another good reassuring point in favour of the hotel.

If you're looking for a modern, quiet and very comfortable 4* hotel near to Girona, then you will find it hard to beat the Melia Golf.

I can't say much about this hotel as I have stayed there only one night but my first feeling - beautiful and modern. Rooms are gorgeous and for the first time I've seen bathroom with so deep bath and window to the room - really looks very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We won a free two night stay and play at Melia Vichy/PGA Catalunya. We stayed in a Double Superior which was huge and beautiful, with a balcony facing the golf courses. The room was very clean and the bathroom was gorgeous. The only way to describe the room was deluxe! The housekeeping was very good. We had free access to the gym and spa, of which we used the spa and it was very nice. the receptionists were always very friendly. Also included in our stay was the buffet breakfast which was amazing. Everything was fresh and there were lots of choices both hot and cold, savoury and sweet. All staff that we came across were very friendly. We were very lucky to win this prize, and would definitly stay here again if it was in our budget!!!!!

We stay with Melia often--this is another good stay with Melia. This resort is so well done. Rooms have everything. This is a new and modern resort. The staff meets your every need. Delivered us a surprise bottle of "cava" and lovely fruit plate since they noted it was my Bday.
