Pool freezing!- but clean and nice play area

Stayed as a family of two adults and 2 children (11 & 9) on the drive down to Spain. Initially booked a room for the outbound journey and enjoyed the hotel enough to book again on the way back. Good value at £120 per night with £14 per adult extra for breakfast. Kids breakfast free with a good choice of food. Our room on the outbound was a bit more dated than the room we got on the return journey however it was well appointed, clean and not worn. Easily accessible from the motorway so no battling traffic after spending 7 hours in the car. Kids each got a fluffy toy on arrival so they were keen to return on the trip back. Nice touch as well as the bottle of water on departure. (good marketing). Hotel staff were very friendly and helped looked for accommodation for me on the return journey. Pool looked inviting but did not have a chance to try it out. Small play park in a large grass area that allowed the boys to stretch their legs while I sat outside with my drink. Did not have dinner there as we ventured into Orleans. Menu looked ok but nothing to get excited about. Food prices average.

Pleasant English speaking (enough to get by!) staff in reception and in the small bar.
Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Not handy for the town but handily located for touring. Nearby Italian restaurant (across the carpark) worth a visit for evening meals as the hotel food was not cheap. A very good, varied buffet breakfast.

We (Family of 4) used this Novotel for a one-night stop over on the way back to the UK.
As expected from Novotel, the rooms accomodate 4 and are very functional.

This hotel has a particular good setting with small children. There is lots of green space around the hotel, including some paly equipment and a pool.
In addition, there is ample parking space around the hotel.

Finally, the Novotel breakfast (where kids eat free) can't be beaten for value. Choices were abundant, and everything was re-filled immediately.

We booked in advance for 59€, whcih can be considered a steal!
