The accommodation at this Residence was very disappointing and the photos available on the internet and travel magazines very misleading compared to the reality. The swimming pool for example is particularly small. The apartments themselves were very poorly equipped in the kitchen area and actually smelt awful. This was a problem which the reception staff acknowledged was common to all the apartments but they had no idea why the smell was so bad or where it stemmed from.
Be prepared to have to pay for towels and for a stamp to send your credit card receipt home. Not only did they insist on us having to pay for this but they maintained that despite running a busy reception, they did not have any stamps available there that we could purchase. Instead we had to make a specifc trip to the Post Office to buy one. When spending a relatively large amount of money for our stay we considered this a little unreasonable.
