We stayed here for 2 nights in February while visiting Lucern. I was a nice location in that it was only a 10 minute drive into the city and the scenery was amazing. It appears to be a quaint little hotel full of charm. Upon arrival we were actually upgraded to the main building(because it was the middle of February and they weren't too busy). The rooms were very outdated. There is a difference between rustic charm and old and needs to be replaced.(this place is definitely the latter). The mattress and bedding were horrible and the bed squeaked every time you rolled over. Definitely two of the worst nights sleep I've had. Our rate stated that children using existing bedding stayed for free and that the room rate included breakfast. But we were confronted rather rudely by a staff member informing us that we would have to pay and extra 10chf per day for breakfast for our 2 &4 year olds.(Those were some expensive croissants!) I thought that breakfast included in the room rate and children staying for free was self explanatory, but not here.
