We stayed here last night with the local astronomy group. The hotel was excellent - staff very friendly & welcoming, lovely food & wine, room very comfortable (although I found the mattress a little too hard for my liking). The views from the hotel are outstanding. The night started cloudy but cleared enough for the telescopes to be brought out and we had good views of the moon, Jupiter and the Garradd comet. The hotel turned off all the lights so we had very little problems with light pollution. There is also some very good walking to be done from the hotel. We walk in this area during the cooler months but it was the first time we'd stayed at the hotel and we'll definitely be back.

on arrival the reception was good and as we had found our way here by sat nav we where more than pleased with the setting and the room .we had a junior sweet with the fabolous view down the valley.the food was exellent and well presented with a good choice of meat fish and rice dishes,the deserts where good if you cuold make it that far i did manage but with a struggle,sad to say my wife asked for some cherries one evening only to be told that ther e wasnt any(yet the mountain side was covered in cherry trees fully laden with fruit).i would recommend this hotel to any one seeking a get away from it all yet Benidorm is only 40km away if you fancy the trip down!!

I stayed here with a walking group for a week. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and has superb views of the mountains and also the sea which is at least 45 mins away. The food was superb- home cooked and catered for individual dislikes e.g. no garlic! A choice of 20 starters, 20 main courses and over 10 desserts every night - delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with more than the usual choices, eggs, cheese, tortillia, cake,bread ,yoghurt, - my only comment is that I do like fresh rolls when abroad and these were not available.
Bedrooms had TV with Spanish stations, central heating, comfy beds, fridge complmentary bottle of wine with the lovely views as above. Felt at home and was always glad to be in my room after the day's walking. You would need a car if staying at this hotel - there is nothing to do nearby except walk and take in the fabulous scenery in real Spain. The hotel staff were most pleasant at all times and helpful.

Spent a very enjoyable week here on a walking tour. Very helpful staff, lovely rooms. Totally happy with the whole experience.
