We stayed for 3 nights with friends in September 2011 and found Casa de Casal an extremely comfortable and traditional small family hotel run superbly by Patricia.

The hotel is in the heart of the Galician countryside and yet only a short drive to Santiago de Compostela and the beautiful gardens of Pazo de Oca.

You could not wish for a better welcome from the owners of this family hotel and we have no hesitation in recommending other travellers to stay here.

Room Tip: Both rooms used by our group were excellent and would other rooms to be of similar standard

“A wonderful guesthouse in Galicia”

We loved it here. We spent 4 night at this beautiful guesthouse. It was immaculate and very comfortable. The room was spacious and the house decor was gorgeous. I wanted every piece of furniture and every mirror. The room was beautifully decorated as well. Several places to relax in and out of the house. Sleeping in the country with the windows open was heavenly. The breakfast was good with hams and cheese, fruit, breads, yogurt, cakes, etc. We had two dinners there and they were great. If I had it to do over again, I would have dinner there every night. Well the worth the 14-16 euros for a three course meal. You could not find better in Santiago, which was very close to the Casa. And last but not least, the hostess was the best. Friendly, congenial, attentive, and accomodating. We really enjoyed her as our hostess. And, frankly, her suggestions about what to visit in the area really helped us have a great time.
