This hotel's location is excellent if (and only if) you are driving your own car. Immediately off AP-7 (actually visible from the highway) makes this an ideal location for travelling in the region.

Free parking adds to the convinience. A short 4 minute drive to central Girona - we parked at Placa le independencia for 1.8 Euro/hour and toured the old city. Girona restaurants also accessible.

The rooms were quite large - could comfortably accomodate 4 in each room. No refiregerator and no safe are minuses. Wifi worked very well, although password only worked on one computer/device at a time.

We were amazingly charged LESS than the original booking rate - presumably adjusted to current hotel charge/night!

What really set this place appart is the exceptional service orientation -
* early checkin was available
* pull out sofas were set up when we arrived
* they set a breakfast up for us at 5 am - before we left for Barcelona airport
* helped with printing boarding passes - through the hotel desk

My first time in a Holiday Inn was worth every penny. Big beds, good breakfast, great service, good location and not expensive.

You have a shopping center 20 meters from the hotel to buy anything you need or connect to a free WiFi hotspot on weekdays, since the hotel charges for internet connection by the hour.

About 10 minutes drive from Girona old city which is really lovely. Just don't sit at any of the tourist restaurants but keep walking till you get to quite and more narrow streets.

Driving to Barcelona is easy and would cost only 8 Euro in toll highways and another 10 for petrol.

Highly recommended.

Very good basic hotel to explore the North of Catalunia. You need a car to achieve the hotel and you need to print a direction map, because when you put the address to GPS, it takes you to town of Salt - very poor place, beleive me.
Good size and clean room, basic breakfast.

Excellent hotel next to shopping centre. We stopped here when driving to France. Room sleeps 4 comfortably. Good service - excellent quality and price.
