Pleasant and helpful staff, clean and a good breakfast. Close to a big shopping mall with a load of restaurants and shops.Good value for money

We stayed in Sidorme hotel with my boyfriend just for one night.
The first impression was really nice. A cozy and clean lobby always creates a very good first impression!
After finishing with our check in, done quickly by a really friendly receptionist, we went to our room. What we liked in the room was that it was very clean and quiet.
Another thing that we liked was that you pay the same price for breakfast either you pay it in advance or in the same morning in the hotel.

The hotel is located a little bit far from the center of Girona. However, right next to it there is a commercial center with cinemas, restaurants and cafeterias. Also, in case you want to go to the center of Girona, there is a bus stop one minute away form the hotel.

In general, we highly recommend Sidorme hotel to any visitor that is interested in having a clean room, a nice breakfast and a calm and friendly environment And of course for people that travel from Girona airport which is 10 min by car from there.

Hotel is located just next do Espai Girones - huge shopping mall, where you can find whatever you need ( shopping, food etc). Bus to Girona - starts from the malls doors - it takes 15 min, and 1,2 Eur one way to Girona city centre.
Taxi to the airport 28 Eur ( bigger car for 5 people) - normal one around 25 Eur.
Rooms nice, very clean, modern, comfy beds, flat screens . Towels, shower gel - included.
Service not very much english speeking - but really helpful and nice ( when our taxi was late, at 6 00 am - the receptionist was calling them 5 times to speed up, and was very caring about this)
Big plus - for early flights - the hot drinks and snacks available in the lobby 24hrs - for 1 Eur.
Hotel I really recommend!

Despite variable reviews on different sites we decided to give this hotel a go, for the price.. It is very basic, in a poor suburb near a shopping centre, so not much to do only walk around. We travelled from the airport by bus and then a taxi to the hotel, not expensive then. maybe more now. The room we had was small but reasonably clean, with a small onsuite bathroom (actually built in the room). There was a tv high up on the wall. No other extras (cant expect it for the price). There is a canteen style dining area with a serving bar (open for breakfast although the reception staff will serve you drinks at other times), and a machine that you could buy snacks from. We went to the shopping centre for a meal in the evening. The hotel staff were very helpfull and also prebooked our taxi for our early morning flight. I would use it again but only as a one night accommodation between flights but not for more than that.
