From the outside it looked beautiful. The inside needs up-dating. When we got to our room it was freezing! The heating wasnt on but there was an oil filled small heater with 1 wheel on which fell over when you crossed the room. There was a lamp on the bedside table but the plug was on the other side of the room!? The worse thing about our stay was the party that was in the building across the carpark which went on til 1am! No one told us when we checked in considering our old drafty window backed onto the carpark! The music seemed to get louder and people were shouting in the carpark until close to 2am! When we went down to breakfast in the morning we had to wait for a while to give our order because it seemed the staff we too busy making sure their regulars got 2nd helping of whatever they requested!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bull during British Superbike final showdown weekend. Its very easy to access Brands from here, 10 minutes by car, 5 by Ducati:)
From the time we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and smart, incredibly cosy and superbly 15th Century quirky.
But the food, well....... Rib eye steak from locally born and bred cattle was just stunning.
We were just disappointed we only had one night to stay there due to work commitments.
Certainly will be going there again - not sure that other previous negative comments are helpful to a business that is clearly proud of its history and customer service.

internet description was misleading. Bed and bedding might have been new but little evidence of anything else in room being refurbished. WIFI ! I was advised to try outside if I wanted to get on line. A bit surprised to find service charge added automatically, when we had to ask twice for a menu, and we spent plenty of money on drinks.
Have not received a reply to my complaints, and don't believe this is the best way to run a business.
Our stay will not produce any repeat bookings.

i took my partner for a birthday treat for two night stay with dinner and breakfast and had a lovely time.the staff have always got time to talk to you and very helpful. the food is top class with extra little touch`s that will blow you away.the room`s are nice and are comfortable. the only thing we found the shower was inadequate to use.but have been told that the hotel are refurbsh in one room at a time.will go back sometime in the future. thank you micky.
