Stayed here a few times when visiting friends in the area, the place is well kept and the staff are always friendl and helpfull. good central location, nice garden and the food is all cooked to order and fresh. what more can you ask for! Only negatives are the food is a little pricey and the menue not overly extensive, but this is not to much of a problem if you are only there for a day or to!

Came across the Horse and Groom whilst walking in the area in August. Beautiful sunny day so all outside tables occupied. Being in walking boots we ventured inside with trepidation but we needn't have worried, we were made to feel very welcome! The place was buzzing, attentive polite staff, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely food, well presented, value for money. We left feeling as we had had a real treat which is becoming rare in the current climate. Looking forward to our next visit when perhaps the log fire will be roaring? Thank you so much!

Following a visit to the Horse and Groom for dinner last year, we decided to treat ourselves this year and booked us in for a one night stay to avoid anyone having to be the designated driver. The rooms were well appointed, very clean, with lovely views down the hill and across the Cotswold. The homemade flapjack in the room was superb and the goose down duvet made getting up in the morning hard. But I wouldn't have wanted to miss out on breakfast which was excellent, as was the dinner we had in the evening.

It's not the cheapest at approx £200 for B&B plus three course dinner and drinks per couple, but we enjoyed it immensely and wouldn't hesitate to come back and we will be recommending it to friends.

Stayed at this charming pub for the Aug long weekend and was very impressed. The staff were polite and charming, food glorious (so good we had to ask the chef to put aside toffee meraningue at breakfast otherwise we wouldn't get one!!). The rooms were comfortable and lots of pillows.
