My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed an extremely relaxing stay at the Ville Panazza. I would say that the hotel, though far from out-dated in its services and facilities, maintains an old-fashioned understated elegance and charm. For example.... the end of the toilet paper is folded into an arrow when the ladies come to clean the room...the newspapers hang in the hall on old-fashioned batons...the gardens are filled with roses and bird-song....there is a shoe-cleaning machine in the hallway...the restaurant is decorated with antique cameras and motorbikes and photographs of famous guests...but as I say, everything in an understated manner....we had the pleasure of noticing these details! What's more, the restaurant is beyond excellent, every dish a delight and the menu extremely well-priced. The only negative point I would raise would be the check out time of 10 oclock...a little early in relation to our flight time. But really, I would not wish this comment to detract from what has been a truly beautiful weekend. Our thanks to the owners and staff.
