We stayed at the Hotel Pradas for 4 nights in August 2101 during a touring holiday in Northern Spain
General Situation - Hotel Pradas is situated on the main street of the small town of Broto - a few Km from the Ordessa National Park. If you are visiting the park and have a car then Broto is a good place to stay. (we found Torla, the nearest town, opressively touristy). Don't be put off that the hotel is on the "main road" as after about 8pm there is virtually no traffic).
The town has several reasonably priced restauarants and bars.
The hotel is a modern 4 storey building constructed in the local rustic style. It is family run.
Check-in Efficient, friendly and charming.
Room - we had a sort of "suite" ie seperate bedroom and sitting room. It was very comfortable, well furnished and attractive. there was lots of storage space and excellend air conditioning with seperate controls for bed room and sitting room (needed as days were very hot - but not during the cool nights). Bed was comfortable. Bath with shower - shower worked very well.
Public areas - place to sit outside and small social lounge - not all that roomy but we did not need to use the lounge as we sat in our own sitting room when not out.
Breakfast - pretty basic Spanish style - i.e. coffee, croissant and toast.
Restaurant - excellent food at a reasonable price.
Excellent, fast and free Internet.
Parking is quite limited in Broto (as it is in all the local towns) and it si worth paying the 9 Euro a night for parking.
Staff and service - amazingly friendly, helpfull and efficient staff made our stay something special.
Overall we would very much recomend this hotel.
