Two things affect the value of a hotel review: the type of room occupied and the expectations of the reviewer. The first is easily fixed by declaring the type of room - I booked a double room with living room for 4 nights. The second is more difficult. My expectations were not particularly high, however, and I was pleasantly surprised. Pradas is a very good hotel for a small mountain village. The room was very comfortable, clean, and of course having a living room ensured sufficient space for two people with luggage for a 4 week trip.
The decor was appropriate for such a hotel, a little more reminiscent of a B&B than a hotel. We had a great view of the town and valley from our windows which opened but also were equipped to keep out the heat of the sun (to help the rooms' airconditioning, required during the above average temperatures of September). The staff were very friendly and helpful and very tolerant of non-Spanish speakers, as was the whole town by and large.
The hotel's restaurant is excellent, both for food quality and value. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Not a bad word to be said about this place; location is ideal for moving around, 10 mins from the national Park and no more than an hours drive from all the other important sight sees. Rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and cosy, breakfast is more than enough to get ready for the day ahead, had dinner one night too and food was tasty. Staff always helpful, even though they organise outings they have not yet to offer me anything, so no hard selling, always appreciated. Would without doubt come back here!

We were the only people staying at the hotel this day -- apparently this is completely off-season! The woman working at reception was completely welcoming, fluent in English. She showed us to our little suite, with living, bed and bathrooms, decorated in warm refined country style. Everything was immaculate and comfortable. Windows opened to the valley view, from which we watched swallows cavorting and, later, the waning moon. A very comfortable stop on our drive through the Pyrenees.
