There are several things here that are great – the view overlooking Montoro from every room, the food for both dinner and breakfast, and helpful staff, impeded by our limited Spanish and their limited English.

The room left a lot to be desired. It was aging quite badly. Plaster around the door to the bath was peeling, and the window frame was rotting. The room was small.

It is probably the best place in Montoro, but I would keep driving.

Stayed here for one night and it was one night too much! This is supposed to be a decent hotel near Cordoba. For starters it's nowhere near Cordoba, it's advertised as being just 20minutes away but it's not, it's almost double that.

This could be forgiven if the experience had been positive, but it wasn't. The rooms are the most basic i have ever seen, to give you an idea, there is no thick curtain to cover the window, instead they used a raw wood plank that covers the window and has a hole in it so the window knob can go through!

Also there is absolutely no sound proofing in the rooms, you can hear everything happening in the other rooms around you! You need to have some very heavy sleeping to be able to sleep properly.
The swimming pool is too small.
Not all was bad, the hotel staff was friendly, you have a nice view and the room was clean but this doesn't make up for the faults mentioned above.
