I stayed at the Hotel Ulivi with my 80 yr old Mother and my two teenage girls.

We didn't have a pool view or lake view, but then I didnt pay for it. The Hotel is small and very friendly. We stayed for a week as we were attending a family wedding nearby.

The pool was very clean and well looked after with spectacular views. the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice.

Paratico has some lovely little restaurants and the short walk to Sarnico over the bridge provided even more places to eat.

The boat trips to the Island are a must.

My advice would be ......have a phrase book handy it will come in use.

This is a lovely Hotel in a perfect location suitable for short - week long stays.

We stayed in Hotel Ulivi between 21-25 September. The hotel rooms are simple and not very big... there are not many choices in the breakfast buffet... and be aware they close it at 9:30 a.m. saying that some guests eat too much!! :))
Paratico is really nice little place in Lake Iseo. One of the attractions is Monte Isola, largest island of all European lakes. You can also take short or long walks along the lake.

Just a few rooms have balconies and a handful of them have proper "lake view", since the olive trees and hedges have taken over (need to be trimmed). Otherwise, most likely you end up in a room facing a noisy main street. There are appartments on both sides of hotel, which do not belong to the hotel and owners/residents there act like they own the whole property. Some resident started screaming at a "tourist" from the hotel who just opened the umbrella provided at the pool. The lifeguard is there to "inforce" that you shower and use a dissinfection spray machine for your feet (obviously, not fully up to speed on latest health impacts) before entering the pool. The breakfast area is way too small for the amount of hotel guests, feels like you have to impose on others to get a table/seat for your family. The wireless internet was intermittent and almost useless. The overall situation was better a few years back, when we first visited. Pitty, it had good potential.

Three bed room was big and clean. We had a big terrace as well. Some of the other rooms had gardens. Be aware that some don't have either, these might be smaller rooms though. The breakfast was good, the staff friendly. Underground parking was free.

There is a little supermarket and pizzeria nearby. It is a short walk to Sarnico with lots of restaurants.

Ulivi pool is big, clean and warm! Excellent for kids.
