With a very limited choice of premium hotels in the city of Brasov, I have discovered Ramada on the outskirts, on the entrance in Brasov from the Bucharest DN1 European Road.
Apart from its rather odd location and 15 minutes distance from city center (by car), the Ramada Brasov is a true premim four star hotel with very comfortable and clean room. The restaurant and room service have a very good standard and service is friendly, fast and efficient. Except for some noisy weekends when the hotel hosts weddings or large corporate events, it is very quiet.
The saunas (dry and (wet) and the Technogym equipped wellness center on the seventh floor are flawless.

Large rooms equipped with state of the art technology (however the minibar was not plogged in, maybe given -20C outside?).
Great bed ( i missed feather pillows, can't get used with the silicon ones!).

Shower with wodden floor was a real surprise!

Good combination between intl and local at breakfast and very smooth check out.

It takes 15 minutes to get intocentral Brasov, but if you get the 80 E rate I had it really worths!

This hotel is modern, and quite comfortable. Rooms are good, and bathrooms very nice.
The location doesn't have any interest, but it's very easy to find.

During my stay, I had the greatest displeasure to be woken up at 1 am by a phone call from the reception to inform me that some girl wanted to sleep with me... I have spent much time in Romania, and you can sometimes see prostitution, but this was the first time a hotel downright offered me the services of a prostitute ! And by waking me up at one am. Unbelivable for such a standard. This was really annoying.

If you intend to visit Brasov, I would advise to find a hotel in Poiana Brasov instead : it's almost the same distance from the town centre, but much more quiet.

We stayed in Ramada Hotel Brasov by chance, as it was late in the night and we were too tired to drive farther. We entered the Reception lobby, asked for the room rates and here we go, the surprises started! The price was very good, and we had to ask again to make sure there was no misunderstanding. We asked to see a room before booking it. They accompanied us more than gladly, introduced the location to us. We liked it a lot. The personnel was the second big surprise in Ramada Brasov: very welcoming, all speaking English, smiling warmly. Dinner in the hotel restaurant: DELICIOUS! The waiter didn't know what else to do to please us, with a very well mannered attitude and discretion.
Next morning breakfast: DELIGHTFUL! We didn't have to stand to take still water even, the waitress was insisting to serve us.
Briefly: although the location is not a very happy one, the personnel & services of Ramada Hotel Brasov made me recommend this place 100% sure that you'll like it and.
