Wonderful holliday !!!
This is the way a family holliday is suppose to be ! Great pools, great beach, wonderful food. Fantastic entertainment.
One night there was a "Gala dinner" by the pool, the desserts were accompanied by small fireworks, then the Show began, an what a show !!! Everthing wrapped up with a fireworks that i never seen anything like !!!
Me and my wife, just stared at each other and smiled.....
I travelled much, but this Valamar Club Tamaris is the no:1

But, lets keep it i secret, so it still can be this "quiet "oasis and "second home" for all of us who adore Croatia !

We've spent there 7 days and we really enjoyed every moment! Great place for families - nice pools, close to good beach, lot's of entertainment fore everyone. Fantastic food choice, you can eat at the main restaurant where they serve really tasty and big choice of food, or you can switch to a small more quiet restaurants - Istrian or Fish - free of charge! Very nice staff, engaged, helpful. Rooms clean but little basic, however good enough for a vacation destination. Highly recommended!

Valamar club tamaris in porec is great vote for family, or for young people, who wants to spend holiday with lot of activities - for children there is unbelievable daily programm in maro club - realy good oportunity for english, german ,russian or italian speaking family - most of the visitors are those nations.
Hotel provides excellent service - room has been cleaned every day, with daily possibility of towel changing.We had family room standard, which can give 4 members family good oportunity to have enough place.Also very interesting is the possibility to change big hotel restaurant to istrian taverna, where meal and drinks are also included, only you have to do reservation - but it is worth to do this, at least 2 times a week to have dinner in pleasant atmosfhere ( dont want to say in the restaurant it was not pleasant, but lot of people, nor in the taverna)
Only one thing I was a bit disapointed was the beach - was not so clean to be the blue flag, as mentioned on web site of the hotel - but it was nothing so bad, so i would say never more - I am sure we will come back again

The hotel is very nice, refurbished but with to many rooms, therefore it is very busy during lunch or dinner. The hotel offers quite a lot of sports opportunities incl. animation for different sports. We have been there already the 3rd time, but it was the first time during August. The other two times it was in September and it was much better, during September, as it is not that crowded. Food in the restaurant is very good, but we recommend to use the two other options you have, by going down to the seaside and have a dinner with a set menu (changes every day) or using the "cantina" also with a set menu per day, but you need to book a table upfront for those two options.
