Located next to Brimingham International airport/railway station and just off the M42, the location makes this a good hotel for business meetings.
The rooms were fairly standard chain hotel rooms, but everything was clean and tidy. We were offered a special room rate as part of a group event, which made the pricing cheaper than similar standard chain hotels. Wireless is only via BT Openzone, and at £10 per day is extortionate for a business-orientated hotel. I used a 3G dongle instead!
The hotel was busy when I stayed, so we ate in the bar. Food was "pub grub" standard, nothing special but edible and at a reasonable price. I heard complaints from those who went to the restaurant that it was vastly overpriced, but can't say if that was the case. Breakfast was buffet-style and perfectly adequate.
Overall - a reasonable value business hotel that does the job.
