I can't compliment the staff here highly enough. They were so incredibly thoughtful when we stayed with our 8 month old baby we couldn't believe it. They put us in a room well away from any potential noise, we never had to ask for a high chair, it was always there at breakfast and dinner, they always had a smile and were really lovely fun. The food was very good too, especially the steak and ale pie! Yumm! The only downside was that we couldn't really go walking from the door with a pushchair as the narrow lanes were a bit too windy. It would have been nice to be able to take it down to the little lake, but that was access only to fisherman. However aside from that, a really lovely stay, and compliments on your staff recruitment.

“Perfect Wedding Location, amazing food!!”

I attended a wedding here early September 2010. The wedding was a late start on a sunny day. Excellent decorations inside, tasteful reception! Staff were very friendly and always available. Bar staff polite and never waited too long for a drink despite ebing surrounded by drunk wedding guests! Food was buffet stlye and amazing! By far better than a sit down meal. More banquet style! Masses of hot roast pork, stuffing, hot apple sauce, salmon rolls, vegi lasagne, towers of profiter roles, bowls of clotted cream, gutted i couldnt fit more in! Didnt stay the night but checked out some of the lucky few who had rooms. Very nice, spacious all with lovely views, modern and frech decour, very clean and well worth what was being paid. Bathrooms were modern and pristene! Also popped back for breakfast in the morning, delicous! Full hot english breakfast, as much as you like as it was all help yourself. Jugs of fresh orange juice, frsh coffee/tea and continental options includ. fresh fruit and yourgurts. Excellent choice for a wedding or other family function!!

An outstanding, small hotel that excels in all aspects. Forget your 5* hotels ..... Cameley Lodge is better than any hotel we have stayed in .... and we have stayed in plenty. The service is second to none and John and his team could not do more to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible. The food is excellent, home-cooked and delicious. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location ...... peaceful and tranquil, overlooking the fly-fishing lakes and countyside.

“Excellent Find!”

We have nothing but praise for this hotel. Food is excellent.
This is five star standard with the individual touch.
Extremely friendly staff. John and Paula have an excellent team.
Thanks to victor and Kasie for looking after us and Sandra who served us breakfast.
Very Friendly.
Amazing place!.

“I would recommend this to all...”

I would really recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel was located in the perfect area for us.... perfect if your looking to get away from the hussle n' bussle.

Room was really nice, very clean and tidy.... but I have to mention the views are amazing...

Breakfast.... well it again was perfect!

Would like to thank everyone at the hotel, for making our stay "perfect"...
