“"Such a perfect day"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 March 2011

After spending eight Fantastic short breaks at the Eiders over a two year period ..my now Husband and I decided to spend our Honey Moon there, following a quiet/secret Wedding Ceremony at near by North Walsham Register Office ...A day to remember it certianly was... Simply The best.
Caroline and James were amazing-such a lovely couple...They couldnt do enough for us.
The Luxury suit and wooded grounds made a wonderfull setting for our wedding photos
We would highly recommend the Eiders for any type of break its more like a small private
hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere....

“My favourite B&B ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 February 2011

I've stayed in vast numbers of B&B's over the years, but this is easily the best of them all. In fact, I've never written a review before, but The Eiders deserves one. Perfect on every level, as the rest of the reviews suggest. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, the quality and cleanliness of the rooms outstanding, and small details (like the quantitiy and choice of tea bags in the rooms) are all spot on. I wish I was on business in this area more often so I could stay here more regularly. Can't recommend The Eiders highly enough.

“Family friendly with excellent service and cleanliness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eiders and would recommend it to our family and friends as a result. The family room was clean and well laid out, we liked the fridge and drinks making facilities in the room. It was nice for the children to have full sized single beds and the shower room was spacious. Breakfast was great, the kids really enjoyed watching the ducks whilst we ate, particularly when they got to feed them too. The service was friendly, we felt very well looked after and welcomed. It was nice to know the owners were there when you needed them but they weren't overbearing. There's a pub which serves food all day in walking distance, it was great to have torch provided for the walk home. The B&B is well located for touring the local countryside and seaside towns.

“EXCELLENT ! Would recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2010

Great B&B, more like a mini hotel. Rooms were fantastic and lots of extra special touches...I have a gluten free diet and they catered for me no problem, even got biscuits in my room that I could eat! Very friendly, the breakfasts are amazing and the duck pond provided hours of amusement ...worth a visit just to see the crazy running ducks :) If any of you are not duck lovers....don't worry they are in their own fenced off area, so can just giggle at them from a distance.

“Absolutely perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2010

Myself and my husband have just returned from a two night stay at The Eiders and it was without doubt one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed in, and we've stayed in quite a few, up and down the UK.
We were greeted very warmly on arrival, shown to our room, given a quick tour of where things we might need are located and then offered tea and cake, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and contained everything you would expect and more. A flat screen TV with sky freeview channels, good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits, bottles of still water, a small fridge and even a wind up torch to take out in the evening if you walk across the road to eat in the pub (which is also recommended - the food was very nice quality, with a good array of specials).
The breakfast was superb - you make your selection from either full english, low fat english, vegetarian, continental, smoked salmon or smoked haddock the night before and there's also a very good choice of muffins, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and juices.
The setting is lovely - there's a duck pond and very well kept gardens with a decked area to sit on - there's also a good size swimming pool (outdoor, so you do need reasonable weather) and all in all, this B&B cannot be faulted.
Will definitely stay again if we're in this area.
