We stayed at this hotel for two nights because of its proximity to Malpensa airport. At first we thought we'd made a disastrous mistake, but in the end were glad we had done it. The room was small, no tub, but the bathroom and sheets were clean. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price which was very reasonable - 59 euros.
The hotel is situated about one kilometre from the Gerenzano train station, an easy walk. For a couple of euros return trip and 20 minutes travel, you are at Cadorna metro/train station and within a few stops of the Duomo. We had been away for a month so the fact that the last train to Gerenzano left Milan at 9:00p.m. didn't bother us. Apparently there is a bus that leaves later though. Gerenzano was not touristy at all - one of its advantages - and we stopped at a cafe across from the hotel in the evenings on returning from Milan. No one spoke English.
The staff were excellent. Our flight was on Sunday morning and there were no taxis available unless we took a taxi right to the airport at 44 euros. A clerk at the front desk drove us and all our luggage to the train station and refused to take any money. We went one stop to Sarronno and picked up the Malpensa Express. The whole trip was 6 euros each.
