Our daughter Stacey married her fiance Daniel yesterday at the Leasowe Castle. We had a wonderful day, Our every need was attended to by helpful friendly staff. The castle is a beautiful setting for a wedding,The whole day went like clock work with a lovely ceremony followed by a reception with wonderful food and excellant service.I would highly recommend the Leasowe Castle as a wedding venue, it was very romantic even in february!

Room Tip: rooms over looking the golf course are very peaceful

“Christmas party night”

My partner and I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed the experience every time. Our party night was excellent, the food and wine were first class and the Staff excellent. The entertainment was a pleasant surprise and so good that my partner and several other husbands were enticed on to the dance floor for a most fun evening.
I cannot fault the accommodation which was clean and extremely comfortable and the breakfast was a dream come true (the best hangover cure).
I would definitely recommend this hotel and am currently thinking about organising a works do there.Thankyou Leasowe Castle for a wonderful evening.

“Superb wedding venue!”

Me and my husband got married here in September. All the staff were lovely and helpful on the day and during the run up to the wedding. All of our guests said they had a lovely time and thought the venue was beautiful. The wedding package was a good price and it made planning the wedding really straightforward.
Would recommend this as a wedding venue and a hotel to anyone.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

We stayed here before getting on the boat to Belfast, because my partner had stayed here several years ago and had a good experience. However, we found no heat in the dining room, the food in the restaurant was cold (Welsh Lamb was tepid, vegetables and boiled potates were warm to the touch but cold to the tongue, my wine was served after I had eaten more than half of my main course.) The radiators were not functioning in the dining room, this is in January, to the point where I fetched my padded coat from the bedroom and wore it throughout dinner. Someone went off to investigate the cold radiators at the beginning of dinner but nothing changed, nor were we offered any means of remaining warm during dinner, hence my coat. Very disappointing, we will not stay here again. Very sad because it is a lovely place, and it could be so much better with a little effort, which is sadly lacking, with the exception of our receptionist who was excellent.

“One night stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

reception very helpful.Dining terrible.Dining room was very cold and the manageress was to sort the heating out but never did.The toilets were actually warmer than the dining room.Worse was to come as the food was lukewarm. In fact the sweet was warmer than the main course. The food was ok but not hot.I will never stay in this place again as it was a complete letdown, way over rated.I was actually here 6 years ago and it was lovely but stndards have certainly deteriorated.

Room Tip: Take a room on ground floor.lift so small and holds 2 people max and takes ages to arrive.
