I stayed for 3 nights, while visiting friends nearby, and used the hotel mainly as a base. The room was quite large, the bed very comfortable, and the TV was big! It was at the standard Holiday Inn cleanliness. The staff were friendly and assisted me with my requirements (an ironing board etc). You can be on the M1 in minutes. I would travel here by car, as there are no resturants or shops closeby.

Ive stayed here three times now as a business stopover when headin south on business late evening. Good friendly stopover on way south or north. Easy to find from M1 but well away from noise. Good facilities and great breakfast. Great value fro rate.

Stayed here a few times now. £50 per night for the room over the Christmas period was a very good price and we were upgraded into the bargain.Breakfasts were very good as usual and the breakfast staff were excellent.This Hotel has been recently upgraded and for a short stay is ideal

Have stayed here a couple of times, the rooms are good standard and spacious, for a night or two stop its perfect, no noise from surrounding area, beds good and extra pillows if needed. We even got a takeaway and bought it back to eat!! There is a small restaurant on site but we prefer to eat out.
Plenty tea coffee facilities and sachets of milk etc.
All in all a good quality hotel which does exactly what it says.

Stayed here and wasn't expecting much! and for £45 including breakfast should i of expected much!? so i'll start with why i believe it deserves a excellent review
1. Supremely clean
2. Very comfy beds
3. Large telly with channels broadcast in HD - lots of movies to select from if you wish
4. Very fast internet (although this obviously can fluctuate)
5. Room well equipped although a bottle of water would of been nice (even the hair dryer was decent)
6. Breakfast - had everything you want from full English items, cereals, toast & spreads, fruit, yoghurt's and a small selection of cheese and meats
7. Great shower! - very powerful & hot
now some reviews claim basic, no service etc etc but if you book via them online and in advance how can you complain at that price? (£35 without breakfast) it's a holiday inn, it has everything you need & 24hr room service too.
having stayed all over Nottingham i can genuinely say that this hotel is cleaner and more welcoming than the Hilton (city) & the Park Plaza (city). It is out of town abit, but there's a great bus service straight into Nottingham or Derby every 20 minutes
