Fifty quid to stay in a 1725ad beautiful pub with roaring log burners and great cask ales. This included a stay in a lovely room with a boiling hot powerful shower and a flat screen telly. Breakfast the next morning was the best cooked breakfast I've had. The staff were all lovely and full of Yorkshire Charm. Dinner in the evening was great. Spotless, friendly, welcoming with a fabulous atmos. My wifeand I would go back like a shot.

It's a lovely hotel in a beautiful countryside.They have a nice pub and a good restaurant. I enjoyed my stay a lot. There's only one negative point is the bathroom. It was clean but I could not manage to get out from the shower room without my friend's help.

Terry and Kirsty where perfect hosts, in a perfect location. The Lister Arms was warm and welcoming. We stayed over the Christmas period and had a perfect relaxing time. The food was fantastic and good value. Really enjoyed meeting all of the locals on Xmas eve and Xmas day. Will definitely visit again. All the best Terry & Kirsty - Andy & Sam.

A warm welcome, relaxed environment. Got last room between Christmas and New Year so small but everything we needed (and particularly liked the welcome tin of home baked biscuits). Hearty breakfasts and hearty evening meals (never managed to try puddings). Good to have vegetarian choice that didn't feel like second best. Great walks from doorstep and will definitely return.
