“Cant Fault- will be re booking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

Just returned from a great week at this hotel with my husband and son. From time of check in everything was great. Nice warm welcome, clean and comfy room, Fantastic food and a great variation, nice bar area, good prices and very friendly. The hotel seems to have a great reputation locally with many locals coming to eat and drink here and all are very freindly. It was nice to go onto the hotels own website and see the food themed nights before we left. I was ill one day and the owners bent over backwards to try to help me and had a genuine concern although my ilness was nothing caused by them or the hotel. On the nights when my son didnt like the themed meals they straight away cooked a separate meal for him- nothing was too much to ask- well didnt have to ask it was offered! The local bus stops right outside and the ski bus stops just at the roundabout where you can go to all 3 ski areas from. All the staff were nice and friendly- from reception to bar, cleaners to chefs- all went out of their way to make you feel welocome. In reception theres 2 computers you can pay to use and free wi fi if you bring your laptop. the kids have lots of games there to play and theres also a playstation in reception area. you have UK TV channels in the rooms and sky in the bar areas. Even if the resort was short of snow at the time of our visit there was still lots to keep you amused if you didnt ski.
I really loved this hotel and the British managements hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel is out of town but its no big deal catching the bus up to resort and we will most definatly be returning. We met lots of people that had been at the hotel before there seemed to be a lot of repeat customers there so if they are comin back year after year the hotel and management are definatly getting everything right.
Well done Graham and Maria the hotel is a credit to you both and your hard work.

Room Tip: Rooms to the back of the hotel over look the river where as the front of the hotel borders the road.

“Great value for money and hospitality-will be hard to beat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Just returned from a great week at this hotel. Located in Erts just on the outskirts or Arinsal with the free ski bus stopping at the roundabout outside we have never found such a genuine value for money hotel. Graham and Maria looked after us so well we have just got to return next year. Now we have been this spoilt nothing else will compare. Food is excellent, hospitality is excellent, value for money is excellent, this whole hotel is just excellent! Ive spent 27 years travelling the world in my job and staying in top class hotels with top class chefs and restaurants trying to impress me and this hotel has not even had to try, so far it is the top of my list. Good for families and couples (we are a couple with a 9 year old in tow) they have done everything to make our stay perfect.
The food has been fantastic every night and every days food has been better, even though we thought it couldnt be any better. Rooms are very clean and well laid out, English TV, the bar caters for every nationality and the rooms are warm and comfy- most nights we have been too hot and had to throw off the bed covers.
If you want a lift up to the town the manager or one of the English staff are more than happy to run you up.
Theres a good English cooked breakfast every morning as well as continental so you can eat as much as you want too. All meals are buffet style.
If you are looking for great value for money and fantastic hospitality then look no further than Graham and Marias warm welcome at this hotel.

Clean, spacious room and loads of storage space.
Excellent buffet breakfast & evening meal.

Internet is only in the ground floor & sometimes very poor.
Apart from that could not fault the hotel.

“Strongly not recommend.”

British family run hotel ? It is totally a Chinese hotel.
Service? Not quite satisfied. not comfortable while met the Chinese lady (owner) poor...
15 mins away from town? Not possible. Poor location. You need to walk up a long steep slope (a part without a walkway)
Food? Not quite nice as advts. especially Mon & Tue - Rubbish. Also Overnight food would serve on the next day(s).
Room? - Extremely freezing. Even you mentioned it to the owner, not helpful, nothing had changed.
- very poor internet connection. Complaint and they said they would set up again. don't know whether if they did or not finally. My room still cannot get a better signal.
- neither fridges nor kettles provided. Can't make any hot coffee or tea to warm up. Have never seen any British hotels or b&b don't provid this basic stuff.

“Like the previous reviews but better!”

8 of us have just returned from Palarine for New Year and could not recommend it highly. The staff are so helpful and the service is amazing. Our room was cleaned and serviced daily. The rooms have sat tv (inc BBC & ITV) and wifi. The bus stops just outside and runs regularly. The evening meals are great; buffet all you want, three courses. Themed evening meals (Italian, Indian, Chinese, Roast..etc). The only problem we had with the meals was that we ate too much!

The staff are very helpful offering advice on places to drink, ski and buses into the village.

As we stayed over New Years Eve the NYE Gala Dinner was included with our stay (non residents were paying 80 Euros). This included a free bar, which kept our group asking what's the catch? As you could drink however much of whatever you wanted (all top brand spirits). To add to how great the staff are, they drove us up to the village for midnight and we went back down after midnight.

Overall a great stay and great service.
