My husband, I, and our three teenage children stayed at this location for two nights in December 2011. The weather was horrible, but it was a nice get-away. We enjoyed the natural and commercial hot springs, visited the Butterfly Conservatory, enjoyed an evening with Pizza John, and did some hiking. Ellen was not on location and although her staff was nice, it was difficult to communicate. Luckily our son studied Spanish and was able to interpret. My daughter discovered a few bugs in the shower and was not impressed, but after all we were in the forest of Costa Rica. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods to please everyone. We rented both rooms; one for ourselves and the other for our children. The curtains in our room did not close completely which was a bit unnerving, but both rooms were clean and orderly.
